Thoughts of a Colored Man will begin previews at the Golden Theatre from October 1, ahead of an opening night on October 31. Find out more about Set in Brooklyn, Thoughts of a Colored Man follows seven Black men as they fom a brotherhood by sharing their feelings and stories. The production blends traditional prose with spoken word, slam poetry and comedy into a multi-generational play. The ensemble cast stars Forrest McClendon, previously nominated for a Tony Award for The Scottsboro Boys. Keith David also stars, best known for Greenleaf and Jelly’s Last Jam. Dyllón Burnside, Bryan Terrell Clark, Da’Vinchi, Luke James and Tristan “Mack” Wilds complete the line up. ....
