By Sana G Apr 26, 2021 Diana Santos was the woman who was thrown to the ground and rendered unconscious by a Fairfield Police officer during a domestic dispute call. Edward Chaves, Diana s husband was there to witness the incident unfold as they were the ones calling for help. He says the next thing you know, my wife s injured and my kids are going to jail. The initial call was to deal with a dispute between Santos daughter and her boyfriend. Santos is being charged with 2 misdemeanor accounts, one for resisting arrest and one fore obstruction. Body cam footage is being requested and Santos attorney is meeting with the district attorney this week. ....

Anyka reports that 78% of women that were surveyed said that they were victims of some sort of sexual harassment. The young women in the video standing by the posters created them and are apart of force behind the campaign, some also victims that know first hand what it feels like to have your safety effected on BART trains.
