Before the start of the 2020-2021 school year, DISD’s teachers and curriculum coordinators brainstormed about ways they could keep students engaged, encouraged, well-adjusted and successfully learning while also keeping them socially distanced, masked and safe. Denison teachers, staff go extra mile for students DISD Denison has long been known as a “Home of Heroes”: U.S. President and General Dwight D. Eisenhower, United Airlines Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, and renowned Viticulturist T.V. Munson, to name a few.
