WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A Watertown man is accused of threatening people at the Jefferson County Public Safety Building early Monday morning.
Sheriff’s deputies say 21-year-old Kevin Youmans used an emergency dispatch phone inside the building to make threats involving firearms against law enforcement and the building itself.
Deputies say he refused to leave and tried to enter a restricted area through a locked door.
Youmans was charged with making a terroristic threat, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, third-degree criminal trespassing, and disorderly conduct. ....

Blotter: Watertown police activity for Monday, Feb. 15

WATERTOWN â Craig D. Youmans, 51, of 209 William St., lower apartment, was charged by city police at 8:35 p.m. Sunday with second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Itâs alleged that he pointed a pocket knife at his nephew, Kevin Youmans, and threatened to stab him with it during a domestic incident at Mr. Youmansâs residence. According to police, it was unlawful for him to possess the weapon because he has previously been convicted of a crime. He is due to answer the charges in City Court.
Patrick N. Hayes II, 21, of 404 Arsenal St., Apt. 1, was charged by city police at 12:34 p.m. Sunday with fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny. ....
