WINSFORD became the first town in Cheshire for GPs to adminster the Covid jab in the community. For many elderly, frail and vulnerable residents it was the first time they had left home since the first lockdown in March. Staff from all five GP practices delivered the Pfizer/BioNTech injection yesterday to 975 residents aged over 80 at Dene Drive Primary Care Centre in a meticulously planned operation.
