As per the Statista report, the registered rape cases in India have tremendously increased from 18,359 in 2005 to 32,559 in 2019. There can be two interpretations of the mentioned data: either men are becoming fearless in attempting such brutality, or women are stepping forward to take action against such incidents and file a case.
