Beacon Broadband is a subsidiary of Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative (CCEC) in Southern Oregon and is building a fiber-to-the-premises network to bring the high-speed fiber experience where no one else will go. CCEC understood the value to their members of having access to high-speed internet fiber broadband and created Beacon Broadband, said Paul Recanzone, General Manager of Beacon Broadband. Currently, about 20% of households on the Southern Oregon coast have little to no high-speed access.
