A sequel to Joe Cornish’s sci-fi horror comedy Attack the Block is in the works, with Cornish and star John Boyega reunitng for the film. Deadline reports that the star and writer/director are returning for the sequel to the 2011 film, which saw a teenage street gang in south London fight off an alien invasion on Guy Fawkes Night. Cornish is back to write and direct, while Boyega will reprise his role as Moses. Plot details are being kept under wraps. “It’s been a decade since Attack The Block was released and so much has changed since then,” Boyega said. “I’m excited to see this heightened story return to the streets of London. Moses has remained one of my favourite characters to play and bringing him back is a huge honour.” ....

Bad memories and trauma followed Bol (Sope Dirisu) and Rial Majur (Wunmi Mosaku) across the sea, creating the perfect weapon for the entity lurking within the decrepit walls to use against the couple. Instead of ghosts, it s the past and an unnerving night witch that haunts this couple. ....
