Fast And Furious Supra sold for over $700,000 Mike Ryan
Movie-used, Paul Walker-driven car sold at Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas.
Barrett-Jackson sold a piece of new millennium movie history at their Las Vegas auction this past June in the form of a 1994 Toyota Supra used in
‘The Fast and the Furious’.
One of the star cars from the first movie in the “Fast Saga”, this A80 (MkIV) Supra also appeared in the sequel,
2 Fast 2 Furious.
The Fast and the Furious, this Supra was one of eight used, according to
Fast car expert, Craig Lieberman, who served as a consultant and supplied the Supra that was repainted and modified for use as the hero car in the first movie.
The man’s lawyer, Katrina Hamblin, applied for continued suppression for her client until his sentencing in September. At a previous hearing, the man claimed he was “well-known” in the television industry and if named it would jeopardise his fair trial rights.

The trio appeared at the Auckland District Court on Friday. Judge Eddie Paul dismissed both applications, and said the burglary of 2000 high-end fashion items, worth about $750,000 spoke for itself, and there was a genuine public interest in the names of the defendants being published. The cake decorator’s lawyer and Hamblin immediately appealed the decision. They can be named in seven days if no appeal is filed.

One of a group of people charged over a $500,000 high-end couture burglary at world famous fashion designer Dame Trelise Cooper s styling room has pleaded guilty.
Only one lonely hanger was left from Cooper s entire 2021 spring and summer samples after the break-in at her office in Newmarket last October. Some 1800 samples were taken, Cooper said at the time.
Today, the 42-year-old man and two of his co-accused appeared in the Auckland District Court before Judge Eddie Paul.
He pleaded guilty to three charges, including burglary and a representative charge of obtaining by deception, but still cannot be named after his lawyer Katrina Hamblin sought continued name suppression.
