A housing association in Southend is warning its tenants about a new scam. Some residents in properties run by South Essex Homes have been recieving hoax calls offering to repair their homes. Others are being told they must pay for repairs to be carried out. South Essex Homes are urging residents to ask for ID from anyone offering to do repairs. It tweeted: Be aware.
