Man Dies, Two Injured in Fiery Rollover Crash on Route 50


Police and rescue crews responded to the crash at about 9:15 p.m. 
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were flown by helicopter to The R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland. 
According to an initial investigation, a red Nissan Sentra “traveled off the ramp and overturned, ejecting one occupant,” the man who died. 
The busy roadway was closed in both directions, causing lengthy delays. 
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
