May 6, 2021 So I met Tom Bergeron for lunch, along with Annette Goldberg, who was the high bidder to join us from last year s Lend a Helping Can auction! We met at the Ferry Landing in Portsmouth - a great spot right on the water, and immediately ordered a couple rounds of Jimmy Juice (a rum drink with pineapple juice and who knows what else- but its delcious!). The drinks flowed, and we had a great time. One down, one to go. And let me tell you - these things hit you half way through your second one! haha- I MAY have gotten a little wobbly for a little bit! But I rallied! Because it was Tom s birthday- and before I went I got a birthday cake for him. I got it in a rush, paid for it - and never looked at it when I picked it up. When the server from the Ferry Landing brought it over- this is what happened- ....
