Delta Air Lines announced (31-Mar-2021) the following service changes in response to increased consumer confidence:
The carrier will unblock the middle seat and enable customers to book any seat on the aircraft effective 01-May-2021;
Introduction of a newly designed snack and beverage service on all flights;
Re-opening of almost all Delta Sky Clubs by Jul-2021;
Unveiling of new digital travel tools, inflight entertainment content, SkyMiles Status accelerators and more time for customers to use eCredits.
The carrier added internal research has shown 64% of Delta customers anticipate having at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 01-May-2021, increasing to 75% by Memorial Day (31-May-2021). [more - original PR] ....
