Jan 5, 2021 One of our culture s best selling authors Eric Jerome Dickey has passed away. The famed author was known for his novels about contemporary black culture. A graduate of the University of Memphis, Dickey also wrote crime novels, comedy scripts and short stories. Some of his work includes: Sleeping With Strangers, Before We Were Wicked, and Sister Sister. He has won several awards for his literary work and was scheduled to release another novel this spring. According to his publicist Dickey died after a long illness, he was 59. Rest in peace literary genius. ....
