CANTON ArtsinStark has a new leader. The ArtsinStark Board of Directors announced Tuesday it has hired David Whitehill as its next president and CEO, who will begin his new position on Feb. 1. An Asheville, N.C. resident, Whitehill has served for the past eight years as executive director of the Asheville Symphony, the largest employer of the performing arts in the 17-county Western North Carolina region, according to a news release from ArtsinStark.
