Coming out simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu, Roberrt is this week s sole release (in Kannada) and the stage, as it would seem, couldn t have been set better for the film to flex its muscles. Having been in the making for quite some time, Roberrt has certainly had its share of delays and inconveniences. Apart from the unavoidable break due to the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, Roberrt s Telugu version too hit a major roadblock when the Telugu Film Chamber had implored the makers to delay the release by a week or two in Andhra and Telangana states. However, the situation was handled by the right authorities and the film was able to release on the same day as the Kannada version. ....

The action-thriller starring Challenging Star Darshan has also become the first big-budget film to hit the screens post the COVID-19 pandemic. Though the film was originally slated to release in April 2020, the makers were forced to postpone the date owing to the sudden pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.
