Easter joy: I am saved by the sacrifice of Jesus

I have written about the prayer of St. Francis before. It so touches my heart. I feel so close to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit each time I pray this prayer.
Dwelling on the words for a while now, I feel I must pour out my heart, especially on this Easter Day as we Christians, once again, celebrate âThe Risen Lord.â
When we think of all the hatred in the world, we ask Jesus to help us strive to tear down the walls of hate . no matter what âhateâ it may be. ....

Throughout history, no one has made a greater impact on this earth than Jesus Christ, yet many still do not understand who he is. During Christmas, people around the world acknowledge his birth was over 2000 years ago but actually he existed long before that. As the Son of God, Jesus is the Alpha and Omega which means he is from the beginning and has no end. This truth of him being infinite is beyond our comprehension, but nonetheless this spiritual reality places him in a unique category all by himself. Prayer for Revival

Do you ever remember so much national and global anger, angst, anxiety and apathy? It seems no one is allowed a peaceful discussion anymore on issues of disagreement. Fear seems to be a tool to drive people to some sort of desired action. Law and justice are frowned upon and unrest and violence seems to be the new norm. A person can now lose their job or friends for political views or perceived opinions, even if they are not perceived correctly. The Bible says it best when the Prophet Isaiah warns (5:20-21) âWoe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! ....
