This year s event will be a Father Daughter Sweetheart Stroll through Temple s Santa Fe Plaza. Being somewhat new to Central Texas, I have found that the city of Temple really steps up to community involvement. I know with the current pandemic that a lot of events have been cancelled or have had to change the way it operated, like The Bloomin Festival, the annual 4th of July fireworks show, the annual Christmas Parade, and even the 1st Fridays have been different just to name a few. So the pandemic has forced us to change the way we do things. The City of Temple has embraced that, and instead of the traditional Father Daughter Dance, they ll transition into the Father Daughter Stroll. ....
Dads and daughters in Central New York will soon be taking their tradition to their living rooms as the annual Father Daughter Valentine Ball goes virtual amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The Upstate Foundation s Valentine Ball will be online this year on February 9 at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature a silent auction, magic and balloons, crafts, gifts, themed activities, and, of course, lots of movin and groovin ! All proceeds from the Father Daughter Ball benefit Upstate Golisano Children s Hospital in Syracuse, and both tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available online. Rotary Club of Bend’s Daddy Daughter Dance on hiatus BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) This time last year, The Rotary Club of Bend was feverishly working to implement all the magical, dreamt up activities for the Daddy Daughter Dance, its annual February fundraising event that has raised more than $37,000 in the past four years. The club announced Thursday it has decided to take a pause and not hold the event in 2021. “This winter, we are choosing to sit this one out,” said CJ Ferrari, Rotarian and organizer of the Daddy Daughter Dance. “A virtual dance doesn’t quite create the same experience we aim to deliver, so we will double our planning efforts for next year when we hope to resume the annual event.” ....

This is a new event in lieu of the Daddy-Daughter Dance which was postponed due to the pandemic.
