A number of solicitors across the county are taking part in the charity’s campaign.
During April Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, with Atkinson Ritson, Gaynham King and Mellor, H&F Legal, Kilvington, Waugh & Musgrave and Wragg Mark-Bell, are offering people the opportunity and time to talk about their will and the future.
In return for a suggested donation to the hospice people will receive a professionally written will during the month.
Since 2011 Make a Will Month campaigns have helped to raise £71,464 for the hospice.
Karen Durden, legacy fundraising manager, said: “Making a will is easy to do and keeping it up to date is very important to ensure that your wishes are carried out and your loved ones are looked after. ....
