Message from Mayor Jo-Anne Albert Yesterday, December 21, 2020 at 1:43 pm, I declared a State of Emergency for the Municipality of Tweed due to the Province-wide shut-down which starts at 12:01 am December 26, 2020 and is to last for at least 28 days in our region. We encourage all residents to stay home, limit travel and only go out for essential reasons (work, school, groceries, exercise, caring for vulnerable people and necessary medical appointments). Municipal Service Adjustments Administrative Office will be closed to the public until the province wide lock-down has been lifted. There will be 2 staff available to answer the phone during regular business hours. During the closure, any payments or correspondence may be done by using the drop box at the front door, by mail, email or via electronic payment through your financial institution. Public Works Department staff duties will be limited to winter maintenance activities only. ....
