Firefighters try to stop the relentless spread. If the wind comes it will get this in 10 from the air constant assault. Choppers lining up to grand prix water, one after the other dousing the flames. But the blaze just keeps coming. The firefighters gather here, one of them in the truck has been injured. They are trying to treat him. This is where they are trying to make a stand, trying to save these homes but the fire getting very close to one along the ridge there. The work is dangerous and exhausting. Crews who have been on seven days straight barely get a moment to rest. Thats the nature of the work. We go from zero to 100. Reporter now more evacuations in Santa Barbara county. This one involving a man who attacked a sheriffs deputy in florida responding to 911 call. It was caught on body cams of the toifrs at the incident. Reporter it took moments for the a 911 call at a disturbance in ft. Lauderdale lakes, florida. It leads the deputy to a confrontation with 42yearold john pierre. The deputy employs his taser. Pierre is not harmed according to police. But he then grabs the deputy. The deputy was attacked, attacked by mr. Pierre. Reporter backup arrives urging pierre to back down. Get your hands off and get down. Reporter pierre lets go of the deputy. According to police he charges toward the backup. Deputy Steve Bannon Briggs who then fires his weapon.
