How worried are you about your health Going Forward . Very concerned. It hasnt affected me thus far. Im 38 right now. But im concerned because im not sure how its going to affect me when im 40, 45, 50 years old. And a lot of guys have played my position have played football in general have had the effects of cte later on in life. Thats a bigtime concern for me and a lot of the other guys. For me, what im going to do is make sure everything i can to counter act the effects. Do the word puzzles. Continue to use your brain and think and all those things. But at the same time you dont know the effects of cte when youre 45, 50, 60 years old. How do you think the game may change . I talk to many friends who have young kids. I have a friend who is hopefully going to play football. You have a lot of parents who say if 95 of players that play football have cte, early onset of alzheimers as well as dementia, thats a bigtime concern. And the game continues to change i think that football theyre doing a good job of protecting the players and giving them a lot of information. But at the same time this is a physical game. Its a collision sport. Its a sport you have to get out there and you have to try to figure out how to play the sport safely. Unfortunately, im not sure theres an answer for that. Oh, boy.
