Utah gets first ‘red flag’ fire warning of 2021 — in April
Two locations in the Uinta Basin are experiencing low humidity and high winds.

The National Weather Service is warning of fire danger in Utah already.
The organization on Sunday afternoon issued its first “red flag” fire warning of 2021, for parts of the Uinta Basin. Two locations near Starvation State Park in northeastern Utah are reporting humidity below 15% and wind of 25 mph or faster, both of which indicate increased risk of a fire starting.
