The Euro STOXX Index traded at 3524.5 at midday, down 0.6% from 3544.2 at the close yesterday. France’s CAC 40 was down 0.8% at 5460.5 from 5507.3 at the end of play yesterday. Germany’s DAX was down 0.3% at 13561.0 after ending yesterday at 13605.8. Meanwhile, over the Channel, the FTSE 100 was down 0.7% at 6458.5 from 6506.1 at the last close.
