His lips are moving much things like and that brooks was a staunch republican. Reporter police had been called her several hours earlier after they say the two men argued over cursing and video in the backyard. But in the dark of night, their feud turned ugly. Police say carter pulled his car on to his own lawn bordering his neighbors and shined his high beams at the victim. Police say carter then got out of the car and after the two men exchanged words, he shot jennings once in the head then stood over the body and shot him in the ned a second time. Did you ever sense that their dispute would escalate to Something Like this . Well, it crossed my mind, because its abundantly aware in the neighborhood that clayton owned firearms. So yes. It happened this morning along Cambridge Road in plymouth township. For Something Like this to happen in broad daylight, why would somebody do Something Like this . It was a repeated knock at 8 28 this morning that caught the attention of Carol Bergman curiously watching two men knock on the front door of her neighbors home. I had no idea what was you know what was happening. Reporter sensing something wasnt quite right, carol grabbed her phone ready to dial 911. When she saw a black truck with two more men pull up, what happened next stopped her cold. He jumped out, ran on to the front porch, jumped in the window. So i quickly called 911. Reporter the two men not knowing police are on their way climbed through the open window and came face to face with a 70yearold homeowner inside. What happened in the moments after are simply dramatic. The two men repeatedly hit the homeowner in the head. Putting a gun against his mouth and threatening to kill him. Just praying and praying, okay, god, get these people. Reporter as Police Arrived carol watches as two of the four men run out. 18yearold jason hutton and walter madd matos. He came out and they both the police saw them jumped on them and handcuffed them. The two other suspects are still inside barricading the door. They had police like all over. And even the police caiman came into our house. This place was absolutely loaded and they were all over the place and back on the other street just in case they came out through the back. And so they had everything covered. Three hours later with swat team in full force the two remaining men anti sabatino and anthony fur leon know surrender. It was very scary because, you know, weve lived here for 50 years. Never ever had a problem. A lot of us say people are being nosy. Well, you know, at this time this gentleman can thank his neighbor for calling the police because it saved him a lot of grief and you know a lot of hardship but that neighbor was very helpful and when she made that call. A 65yearold man in the hospital tonight after someone shot him along the 1200 block of west tioga street. That is in north philadelphia. It happened about an hour ago. New Castle County Police department has a grant request for 200 new ones. I think this is a great federal partnership. And ocean water temperatures will impact the land temperature when you on shore flow today we have a brand breeze so temperatures very similar in ocean city in hammonton as work your way in inn land. North wildwood 78 degrees. As we look at ultimate doppler you can see a few clouds as you head down the shore. Otherwise, a mainly clear evening and overnight.
