Group of brave men put their lives on the line to pull a driver from a flaming car and through a wall. Why they knew they had no choice but to help. Deputes Zach Marshall his colleagues and that fourth man could barely breathe through the smoke. As they worked together to free the man from the wreckage. His legs were tucked underneath the dashboard and he was sinfully snoring asleep on the drivers seat. His head was up again the seat back. He wasnt in a seated position. He was laying down in the vehicle. While neighbors ran to help most were too scared to intervene. All i seen was the guy in the passenger seat getting out by himself i tried to help him but as soon as the car got on fire i back up. The car on fire, real hot. The took four of us, you know somebody guys are bigger and stronger than us, so it may not have taken as many but it took four of us. Reporter i spoke to the Good Samaritan over the phone. His name is david perez and he tells me that he was scared he might get hurt. But he just couldnt stand there and watch someone burn. That is why he stepped in. As for the driver he is still in the hospital in serious condition. But did he regain consciousness. The passenger hes expected to be okay. The dew point is that true amount of moisture in the atmosphere and when we see dew points in the 60s thats actually humid and youll notice that as you head outside. But in places like lancaster and also read wrack that drier air and those clearer skies are moving in, thats where we have those lower dew points it will be much more comfortable later this evening as that dry air work its way into philadelphia and south jersey
