Its around Prince Georges County and a calvert and Anne Arundel County deal and sunderland. Between 6 00 and 9 00, this is what the radar looked like. You really had to look hard to see that area of the heavy rains coming through. And the downpours too. As a matter of fact, it rained so hard that at one point there were a couple road closures around cameron where they had that Flash Flood Warning that was just dropped a couple of minutes ago now. Huntingdon park reached flood stage at 5. 5 feet. Thats how hard it rained. I think what weve got on tap for the rest of the week, more stormy conditions coming through, more ref rain and river flooding. This is the broken water main the section of it. Its 16 inches in diameter, and its 68 years old. Weve had several breaks here that have caused problems. Businesses have been without water. Reporter wsse crews say the age infrastructure is to blame. They plan on permanently replacing this water main in a few months. Its going to be fixed by tomorrow mornings commute. Investigators want to know if Airline Officials are coordinating efforts to slow their growth causing a high demand for seats and increased prices for those seats. New tonight on news4 at 11, an arrest in the massive fire at the cvs pharmacy during the riots in baltimore after the death of freddie gray. Raymond carter is accused of torching the building in april. Our affiliate in baltimore explains how Police Caught him today. Reporter a burning cvs at the intersection of pennsylvania and north avenues became one of those devastating yet Iconic Images of the baltimore riot april 27th. Now Police Say One person lit that fire, raymond carter. He is a criminal who took advantage of our city when we were most vulnerable. Carters actions cost over 1 million of damage to this community. Reporter authorities wont say how carter lit the fire. City police say information from the public helped them and the atf identify carter. And on wednesday, a tip led atf agents and city officers to federal hill, where they captured carter, but it wasnt easy. Approached mr. Carter as he fled from the agents, refusing multiple commands to stop. Reporter police hope carters arrest is a sign of things to come for the post riot task force which is still looking for others who they say contributed to the unforgettable days in late april. We have arrested 11 adult, seven juveniles, and we have eight outstanding arrest warrants. For those who have destroyed our stores, who have thrown rocks at our officers, were coming. We havent finished yet. Also new tonight Metro Transit Police arrested someone for stealing iphones at least a half dozen times in a matter of weeks. The suspect just 14 years old. Metro tells us tonight he targeted the iphone 6 and managed to steal it from riders six times between may 27th and june 15th. This happened at the minnesota avenue Eastern Market and deanwood stations. Police are working right now to find out if that teenager is linked to even more cases. Right now a toddler is recovering after falling eight eight floors from an apartment window here in silver spring. Chopper 4 over the scene today at the white oak towers on old columbia pike here. It is the seventh time someone has been attacked by a shark along a North Carolina coast in just the past three weeks. Dan sheneman has our story. Reporter for the third time in a week a swimmer was attacked off North Carolinas outer banks. This latest attack happened off Ocracoke Island when Officials Say a 67yearold man was in the water up to his waist when a shark grabbed him and dragged him under the water. He suffered bites to his leg, hands. Before being airlifted to a hospital. The news spread quickly on the beach that it was shark attack or a shark bite. And so you know, obviously everybody got out of the water. This incident was the seventh confirmed shark attack in North Carolina in just three weeks. Victims include an 18yearold who nearly died. 12 and 16yearolds who lost limbs. A charlotte man who suffered several bites and is lucky to be alive. I could see the fin slowly coming by me. And i felt myself instinctively punching the shark realizing that a shark is upon me. Its attacking me. This could be it.
