Last time i showed you this we saw fire crews, all the police, they were blocking the two left lanes and now you can see theyre pretty much off to the side. We still have police on the scene, a couple of vehicles remain and we still have a jam. Lets check it out. This is the schuylkill expressway and you see this eastbound traffic, wow, look at the travel time we just punched up. It takes you over an hour on the schuylkill eastbound to get from the blue route to the vine whereas westbound is an easy 17 minutes. Thats a huge delay at this early hour. Eastbound jams approaching city avenue to approaching Spring Garden. Now, that accident has just been pushed to the side so i think these times are going to ease but if youre heading out right now youre sitting in traffic for an hour on the schuylkill expressway eastbound. That is a mess between the blue route and the vine, jammed for over an hour here because of that accident. Now things are improving that the lanes arent blocked but its already a mess. This is the vine westbound really jammed as you try to head onto the schuylkill expressway. So watch for this one. Westbound is heavy from past broad street to the schuylkill and thats because of the westbound gaper delay from everyone checking out the schuylkill and then that delay spills out on the vine so its just kind of rolling delays were seeing now on your majors, matt. Eastbound on the schuylkill a forty four 44 minute jam from the blue route to the vine. Last time i showed you what i was 61 minute jam. Youre jammed approaching Spring Garden where that accident is clearing right now and you can seep westbound a little slow as well as people had quite a bit of a gaper delay. That caused delays on the vine and now we have an accident within the delay on the vine so you see the flashing lights up ahead. This is the westbound vine street expressway approaching the schuylkill. An accident up ahead i see penndot with the arrow board blocking the left lane. So really jammed on the vine from broad street to the schuylkill. It was already slow because of the delays on the schuylkill with the gaper delay cause of the eastbound accident. Now an accident within that delay so its just kind of going downhill from here. Weve got a problem over here in lafayette hill. Weve got a new issue here, a disabled vehicle causing some restrictions right on ridge pike is the area at church road. Also a downed tree in Malvern Chester county blocking paoli pike and thats between long lane and warren avenue. Quick look at the commuter traffic report right here and checking on the waze app and we found someone talking about an accident on the new jersey turnpike northbound near woodbury so thats between exits two and three. In the end the crooks escaped and its unclear if the woman was injured. A los angeles Police Officer was injured in an incident that left a suspect dead. The incident began with the report of man with a gun last night. Two officers responded. A gun was fired and the suspect was killed. Police have not specified who fired the gun.
