targeting our older adults. we need to tell you about it this morning. this time baltimore city police say the suspect is posing as a bge worker. and sherrie johnson has more this morning on the warning. another case targeting the elderly sherrie. >> reporter: well, this latest case comes after baltimore city police made arrest and a property tax and robbery scam that targeted older citizens. now there's another dangerous situation that police want folks to be aware of. this incident happened on wednesday morning a man posing as a bge worker made his way inside the home of a 62-year- old man in the 2000 block of east baltimore street in upper fells point. the man said his attacker knocked on the door and he was dressed in a white t-shirt and tan pants and bge vest. after making his way inside, the attacker pulled out a small revolver and the two began fighting. he hit the elderly man in the head several times with the gun and then ran off. bge says it rarely sends anyone to a home unannounced. >> we have informed bge of the incident. and we -- at this point we don't feel there's a connection with the prior elderly scams but we want to caution the pb limb -- public when someone comes to the front door don't allow entry but call the police. >> reporter: no arrest has been made in the case. if you are unsure give bge a call. each employee and contractor care yeas badge don't become victims of identity theft? >> one is is talk to your parents about getting that annual credit report to see that and freeze your credit. the second is all those little popups things you get or the little quizzes you might win an ipad or might not. all the different things you are filling out, be thinking about who is collecting that data and where it's going to go. and don't fill it clouds streaming in across the area. and we will get some sunshine in here as we go throughout the day. maybe not as much sunshine as we saw yesterday. because we have an area of low pressure that is going to be developing along the carolina coast and i am going to detail that a little more and with that, that will begin to push in some wet weather as we go into the weekend. unfortunately. but mainly we will stay to the east of us. so here's the area of low pressure developing as we go throughout the day today. and it's going ride up along the coast and kick back some clouds even for today. i think we will stay dry today but the wet weather will work et cetera way in along the eastern shore. so if you are traveling to the beaches this weekend, it's not going be the best weekendch head to the state fair instead. we have going to get a battle of the area of high pressure in the low pressure as we go through the weekend, too. now tropical storm tracker we are looking at isaac right now. winds still sustained at about 45 miles an hour. moving to the west at about 13 miles an hour. and it's going to move over hispanola and cuba and then it's going to be tracking florida is still in that cone of uncertainty. and we can see now the gulf coast states yes definitely have to keep their eyes peeled and it will strengthen the national hurricane center does have it strengthen to a category one before making landfall next week. now we look at future trend not picking up on a whole lot for today. but that temperature coming in at 86 degrees and that sun- cloud mix and morning patchy fog and we have more patchy fog this evening and by tomorrow, that temperature coming in right around 82 degrees mostly cloudy and showers possible mainly to the east. charley. waiting tables
