Students at ankeny, West Des Moines and waukee schools were also held until the storm moved by. 53 57 we were let out of school the tornado sirens went off so they tolds us that we had to go back in for shelter most of us went to the locker room and a couple people in scattered class rooms with no windows. I my self was in the locker room it was pretty packed in there. 54 10 once the storm passed we started receieved a lot of reports of as we said at the start of the show a tornado was reported near the airport. A child was rushed to the hospital after falling out of a third story window this morning Des Moines Police were called to this apartment complex on twana drive. A three Year Old Girl fell from a third story window and landed in a flower bed below. Witnesses tell us she was crying and talking to paramedics before being taken to the hospital.
