Reloading in intensity overnight tonight and through the day tomorrow, hurricane warnings in affect for the bahamas as well as much of the east coast of florida, miami north, up through Daytona Beach and the north of there, its a hurricane watch. On the other side of florida, its a Tropical Storm watch, many that conditions are possible, tropicalstorm force conditions are possible tampa and fort myers, but again the brunt of the storm will be in the east coast of florida. Heres the latest track from the hurricane center. It does move through the bahamas late tonight through the day here, the 3s and 94s indicating the cat 3s and 4s, category strength. Up to a 4 late tomorrow night and early friday morning as it does approach the east coast of florida, perhaps coming in near titusville, vero beach. Right there will be the brunt of the storm along the 95 corridor just north of miami up toward Daytona Beach and jacksonville. From there it moves northeast, along the georgia and South Carolina coastline, weakening somewhat, but still South Carolina, and this right here, again, if this is your first newscast in a few days, this is a looping back south. So its never moving north of north carolina, it takes new england off the table in terms of bothering us this weekend. We will talk more about your Holiday Weekend forecast in a few minutes. Well, people in florida are stocking up on supplies, their governor told them to have at least three days of food and water on hand.
