The 38yearold was taken on new years day by two men posing as constables, telling robertsons parents as they watched their son being led away in handcuffs he needed a drug test. Jamie was never seen again. Investigators eventually arresting the two men and this man, james feeney, the alleged ringleader who prosecutors believe got a Dedham Police officer to lend feeney his badge so robertson could be kidnapped. The motive, prosecutors say jealousy over a woman who chose the victim over feeney, investigators say this case is only beginning. Four individuals were charged in the initial case involving the kidnapping and we have to follow the evidence, and the evidence is still actively being gathered and devils it to work. Now, we did reach out to the robertsons family and they were understandably upset and declined to go on camera, in avon tonight, kelli ohara, 7news. Also on 7, a College Student robbed at gun point. Gas station Convenience Store in taunton when he says two masked men stormed in and pointed a gun at his head. Paid they demanded cash and also stole cigarettes from behind the countier. It happened so quick. My owner of the place said if that ever happens, let them volunteer whatever they want, because its not worth my life. Police arrested three men shortly after the robbery and say the gun was a fake. The cold front has been stubborn from boston north and west. So not only do you have the cold air at the low levels with temperatures running at 30 degrees in boston and 28 in bedford, but we also have a lot of lowlevel moisture in place and with the calm winds and dewpoint readings side by side with the temperatures giving us humidities close to 90 if not you can see that from boston. A lot of lowlevel moisture in place giving us patchy freezing fog and a little bit of freezing mist at this hour. We have had some patches of freezing and mist. In terms of steadier rain or freezing rain, i think that will hold off until 9 00, 10 00 this evening. Back across western new york and into pennsylvania. And this is moving off to the east. I do expect more precipitation to arrive later on this evening. Most notably after 9 00. And you can see some of the showers streaming right through southern new england. And it temperatures close to freezing if not below, especially north and wes of boston, we likely see another glaze of ice, if not, you know, some a good icing here on some of the sidewalks and driveways.
