Reports. Today findley said this is a remarkable example of a prosecutor doing the right thing, motivated by the search for justice. The Milwaukee County district tremendous credit for this exoneration. Also, the same milwaukee judge who presided over holloways conviction. Was the one who vacated that conviction and dimissed the charges yesterday. 3 steven avery whos currently serving a life sentece for the muder of Teresa Halbach was previously exonerated for a Sexual Assault. He was accused of attacking a woman 1985 and convicted prison. The Innocence Project revealed new dna evidence that linked another man to the assault. And after 18 years, avery was released. Two years later he was tried and convicted in the murder of a woman in manitowoc. Which was the subject of the Netflix Documentary making a murderer. As mandy mentioned. Holloway is only eligble to get 25thousand dollars for his wrongful conviction. And while hes enjoying his new freedom. Hes deeply worried job. I cant even find a job its going to be hard cause ive been locked up for almost 25 years, you took almost a quarter of a century from me and now i cant find a job. Thats a problem. Problem.
