Right now looking live at the city skyline and its crisp out there. Temperatures holding steady. 44 in philadelphia right now. Of course colder to the north and to the west. However, Washington Township reporting in at 38 degrees. Look at that 28 this morning in quakertown. 25 degrees in the poconos. 34 down in Atlantic City at the airport there. Temperatures will be bumping up as we move on through our saturday but its on the chilly side as we start out early this morning. So well call it cooler but sunshine will prevail especially during the Morning Hours and then we expect the clouds to move in later this afternoon and well go for mostly cloudy forecast as we head into our evening hours. Thanks, karen. Chaos in chicago. Supporters of donald trump clash with protesters at his rally last night. His Campaign Managers were so concerned about safety they canceled the event before trump even took the stage. Police say two officers were hurt while holding back the crowds and five people were arrested. Trump has been criticized by his opponents for the increasingly violent tone at his rallies and last night the situation escalated. Nbc 10s Monique Braxton is live in the Digital Operation Center with a closer look at what happened in chicago and reaction trump supporter, chris christie. Monique . Chanting we stop trump. Look at the video we gathered hundreds of protesters chanting victory cries as they filed out of an auditorium where the republican president ial candidate abruptly canceled a Campaign Rally. Protesters at the university of illinois were obstructing most of the exits as Trump Supporters began filing out. Trump supporters were pushing back racists, go home. Some reaction from students included a graduate student saying i think its a great thing that happened to have the trump rally at this school for what this school stands for is disrespectful. A trump supporter said as he was walking through a gauntlet of protesters they cursed at him and he had to push through holding his 9yearold daughters hand. He also told us she cried. Police sources and barricades kept the bulk of people across the street. They were protesting his they cited concerns it would create a hostile and physically dangerous environment. Chicago police are telling us five people were arrested in all. Trump supporter, new jersey governor christie was asked about the protest in chicago and heres his response. No, i think everybody is responsible for their own conduct. Its like saying does a sports team have responsibility for every knucklehead who runs on the field. Police tell us a predator forced a woman into the woods and sexually assaulted her. The 22yearold woman was walking alone Late Wednesday night. The victim helped police create this sketch of the suspect. Hes described as a heavy set man in his 30s. He has a light beard and heart shaped tattoo on his chest. The woman told investigators he dragged her into the woods and duct taped her mouth. He physically and sexually assaulted her. Its safer that if youre going to do the trail part, do it in groups. Alone at night, its kind of scary to do it at night. Philadelphia police hope someone will recognize the sketch and give them a call. Good news for new Jersey Transit riders. There will be no strike by Union Workers after they reached an agreement with the transit agency. Neither the union nor new Jersey Governor Chris Christie would release details last night but what we do know is there will knob fare hikes or service cuts through june of next year. New Jersey Transit employees had been working without a contract for nearly five years. Riders are pleased they wont have to pay high fares. Thats important to us. The unions wanted an 18 pay raise over seven years plus back pay to 2011. They also wanted Health Care Costs capped at 2. 5 of their base pay. Its unknown what they received in the deal. It was not the news congressman fattah lawyers wanted as they tried to get fraud and corruption charges dismissed against him yesterday. They argued 19 of the congressmans 20 federal charges should be thrown out because of legislative immunity. The judge called it thin and questioned whether the motion was filed in good faith. Even with the trial date looming on may 2nd, the congressman is focused on his reelection bid. Theres a decision thats going to be made on april 26th. Im making sure it doesnt interfere with the democratic process. F fattah is facing charges in the same courtroom where his son was convicted last year. Today friends and family will remember cara mccollum. Mccollum died last month after a car crash in bad weather. The 24 year old was crowned miss new jersey in 2013. More than two feet of rain has been dumped across the state in the last three days triggering destructive flash flooding. At least three people have died. Dozens have been evacuated from their homes and roads have even collapsed under all of the water. Heres a view from above. A drone flew over Vernon Parish to capture these images of the flooding. The governor of louisiana has declared a state of emergency for some areas and families are being warned to get their valuables and get out. In brazil, flooding there claimed 16 lives. Entire neighborhoods and roads are under water in sao paolo. Firefighters had to rescue a newborn baby from a flooded home. Three people drown when they were swept away in floodwaters. Back in the u. S. , nancy reagan is once again with her beloved ronnie. The former first lady was laid to rest yesterday. Reagans final farewell drew hollywood stars, political heavy weights and representatives of ten white house families. The service was all planned by nancy reagan herself right down to the White Flowers on her casket. Occasionally i thought that even god might not have the guts to argue with nancy reagan. She will once again lay down beside the man who was the love of her life. The one she loved until the end of her days. Following the funeral nancy reagan was buried on a Southern California hilltop alongside her husband who died in 2004. There was a tribute to the former first lady here at home. Flags were flying at halfstaff in honor of nancy reagan outside of the federal courthouse in philadelphia. It was a final salute to an american sailor seven decades after he was killed at pearl harbor. A military funeral was veheld f vernon luke. He was killed aboard the uss oklahoma and buried in an unmarked grave. His family says they have some peace of mind. We finally were able to recognize him individually for his efforts. It took a long time but its nice knowing we did the right thing. Most importantly, the family now knows where their sailor, who served on uss oklahoma is and they have closure. Temperatures dipping down a bit especially through the weekend. Were tracking rain for tomorrow mainly. 44 degrees right now in philadelphia. Thats about 17 degrees cooler than where we were yesterday morning. Yesterdays high close to 67 degrees. Not that warm today but sunshine to start anyway. Current temperatures in allentown, 32. Northeast 39 degrees. 34 degrees right now in Atlantic City. So temperatures across the region on the cooler side for sure.
