Right down in parts of Worcester County we started to see the national what the National Weather service recognized as rotation. Not too far from marlboro so there was damage and this cell went northeastward towards concord and there was damage in concord. We will get Additional Information about the path of this and its yet to be determined whether it was an but seems suspicious. There was quite a bit of rotation here. The National Weather service will send a survey team out later this morning to see if it was and whether they will confirm whether it was a tornado or not. But the damage you are seeing so far and its a very heavy rain so you can see the signature right in there as the weather rotation probably was in here and is moved off to the northeast. So, its all a done deal as it moved to the Middlesex County and we started to lose the signature and the rotation dwindled and all we have is severe thunderstorm northeastern massachusetts. And all we have now is the rain but here are damage reports multiple trees and power lines are down on curtis and maple street and Church Street and framingham and that happened around 3 or 7 3 07 this morning. Everything came falling out of the sky so to speak early this morning kate. I came to work and it was rainfalling and no light anywhere. Only like one light nick strike somewhere on the scan here and then about Lightning Strike somewhere on the scan here and then we had a Severe Thunderstorm Warning go out. The National Weather service is watching a strong storm over the outer part of the cape near or south of wellesley to east ham orleans and its moving out so no severe thunderstorm but they say its strong storm. We have rain left over southeastern massachusetts. Not getting the coverage of the rain down there that some of the places have show you what happened. What was going on is Severe Thunderstorm Warning went up by the National Weather service and started to see rotation as it moved from marlboro and back here and started down marlboro knee sudbury and towards concord and you can see what looks to be a hook. It has not been confirmed by the National Weather Service Signatures and you can see going through billerica and sort of rotation weakens. That was the end of that. But the National Weather service had the Tornado Warning up through north even middlesex and then a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in essex county and that was it. A couple Severe Thunderstorm Warnings southeastern massachusetts but we are done with the Severe Weather and we have a little rain to go through here but we have had damage from this storm so lets see where the damage occurred. For example in marlboro multiple trees and power lines avenue maple avenue and that occurred at 3 07 and in concord trees down on alcott road and probably will get additional damage reports as this moved off to the northeast. So there was rotation in the air and as soon as National Weather service sees row station thats a loss no confirmation of being on the ground but there was damage. When rotation is seen on the scan they will come out with a Tornado Warning. Morning and additionally rare a not have thunder and lightning. 1. 19 inches. We have worthwhile rain but ionchp in lawrence and an inch in lawrence and beverly and boston had 9 10 of an inch. Will we have the driest summer ever on record. It falls in the upper 40s and suburbs and a complete change of air mass we will call it polar air coming in. In boston we have temperatures 68 but it hasnt dried out too much. Dew point is 67 but wind is out of the northwest and thats important the front is gone by coming up shortly so as we go hour by hour in boston we are going up to the middle 70s by lunch hour. Upper 70s to near 08, 80 at 3 or 30. These are the 80. 80 at 3 or 3 30. These are the dew points. Heres the cool dry air from sudbury to ottawa and thats coming in from canada and will be with us later today and especially tonight. Very muggy oppressive dew point 71.
