Involved in this crash. A Highway Safety truck. Police dont know if any were injured but the cars with badly damaged. All the lanes are open. We do have a crew heading to the scene. And well bring you new information as soon as we get it. Police have cited a driver after a crash involving a fire truck. The driver of the suv didnt stop for the fire truck which was rushing to five people were hurt, four of them firefighters. The good news is that everyone will be okay. The woman accused of hitting a trick or treat erhas lost her license at least for now. She hit the 4yearold on marshall avenue. The woman got out, looked at the child, talked to a few people at the scene and then got back in the car and left. A witness followed the car. And the police took the 27year old into custody. From surgery. Tonight a spirit of a different kind found in a walpole childs halloween candy. This was no ghost, it was a nip of vodka. Police are warning parents to check kids candy. Reporter good evening. Police were telling us if you go by the look of the bottle, there was a green apple on the label. And they said it was very easy for a kid candy. And thats why they went door to door, giving parents a heads up. Its pretty sad to think somebody would do that. Ghosts and goblins s, the usually suspects. Last night in walpole, a 6year old discovered a spirit designated for adults. They found this bottle of alcohol that was inside with all of the rest of the candy. Sweets was this mini bottle of smirnov green apple vodka. She found it especially hard to believe that this bottle came from her street. Its a small street and were all very close. We all know each other. And it comes as surprise to me. Walpole police made the gave out the nip. If it was in a bowl of candy and someone put it in the bowl and the child took it out. We dont know how it happened. But somewhere along the line, someone had ill intent. Reporter and police are citing this as a prime example of why parents need to go through the candy after halloween. They can take them home and put them under the tree. The fire donations he planned to give away from the christmas party. Now he has 31 days to pull it off and needs a lot of help. We need cash donations to replace the decorations and supplies to pull the party off. We need toys, we need stocking stuffers. And while time is running out. Don hopes the season of giving of rubble.
