Reporter brooke, joe, good morning, thats right, the next high tide scheduled to hit here in ocean city around 11 30 this morning, with that said officials are urging the folks here who have stayed to vacation at a residents to remain vigilant again with coastal flooding a possibility. But you know what . Ocean city already feeling some of the impacts of this storm, some of the businesses here along the board are reporting business is down over the weekends, and you know what the labor day race scheduled for 9 00 a. M. Is canceled this year, for the first time the city says ever. And right there you see some beach combing happening right now, there is still a threat of coastal flooding, and possibly some beach errosion here in ocean city. And that threat will continue here through at least the morning high tide, again, expected just after 11 30. Right now, though, as you can see, just dealing with bit of a breeze, and some rough surf. Still, pretty dark out here in ocean city this morning. Dont know if you can make out those waves in the background, but currently here on the board this morning. Now, officials again dont want those to let their guards down just yet. The water here will remain close to swimming today due to the rough surf and strong current. Those are still dangerous conditions, and officials are asking vacationers not to disregard the temporary ban. Fortunately, though, for the most part, looks like the jersey shore dodged a bullet. Still, the threat of this storm sent crowds home early from the shore this weekend. Eyewitness news on the board last night, and we spoke with Business Owners who were seeing profits way down, on one of the busiest three day weekends of the entire year. We spoke to one business who says the profits are down about 50 . Now, those who stuck around, say theyre going to leave early today. Take a listen. Passengers on cruise ship are dealing with hermine, a passenger tweeted this video from Royal Caribbean anthem of the seas. A woman is dead, a man is fighting for his life. Eyewitness News Reporter just. Justin finch live at Temple University hospital with the latest, justin . Brooke, joe, good morning, police are looking for tips as you mentioned in this now homicide investigation. As was said earlier the woman did die here at Temple University hospital. The man who was with her remains in extremely critical condition. Lets get you naught to video from the scene overnight. The initial investigation spanned 2200 block of north chadwick street, where about 12 39 this morning, 22nd addition strict officers found two victims lying in the street. A man and woman both in their mid 20s. Police got them to temple hospital where that woman died about a half hour later. She had been shot in her back, the man shot in his head is now listed in extremely critical condition. Police have not said what their relationship is at this time. And add that they are working with very slim leads this morning. We do not have any description nor are there any cam cameras in the area and no motive.
