The Camden County Prosecutors Office is investigating and confirms this was an officer involved shooting, but it is unclear why police were at this home to begin with, and what prompted them to open fire. On the part of some legislatures, they dont want to come back for something that is exclusively pertaining to philadelphia Public Schools. But, some republicans disagreed. Set grove, republican representative from york, said he could vote for the tax, as long as comprehensive property tax reform went along with it. But he does concede that phillys issues dont seem to end. Every budget year it is another philadelphia issue because of financial situation or philadelphia. There is no doubt philly schools are in rough shape, likely will be for some time. But no matter where you fall on the issue, it is philadelphias 200,000 Public School children that bear the brunt of this budget battle. And School District officials also said around 1,000 jobs could be shed by midaugust if the state does not provide more funding.
