After a night out with a friend bar hopping a bit, ashley wells kayaked out to the boat her friend lives on, then took the kayak to get to the boat she stays on, a a few piers a a few piers away. From the location where she would have gone inlet maybe 200 to 300 yards. Reporter wells never made it and the kayak that looks like this one has not been found either. Conditions calm that night, but the tide was going out a strong current to fight. She did not have her cell phone with her and no inflatable device. Reporter friends say ashley who they call ley wore this blue flannel shirt and jeans that night. She moved to the bay area from missouri a few years ago and enjoys her work in the produce business. She was going to start another organic farm job and that would have been this past sunday. So she was really looking forward to that. All of this is just a bit odd and a bit jarring. She has a lot going for her. She is really cool and a great person, like really friendly. Reporter those in sausalito who live on their boats have seen the missing fliers. Theres a lot of partying and a lot of fun. Bad idea though. Cold water, rough water, alcohol, probably not a good idea. Fremont police are asking the public for help in finding a missing teenager considered at risk. Police identified the girl as 15yearold kailen glasper. She was last seen on tuesday april 4 on mowry avenue. Glasper is said to be fivefeet eight inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes and may be wearing a white sweater, blue jeans, ask and white shoes and white shoes. There are prayers tonight in San Bernardino, an interface surface by those affected on the deadly shooting today inside a classroom at an Elementary School. A special Education Teacher was shot to death and two Young Students standing behind her were hit by the gunfire. One of those students just 8 years old died this afternoon. You can hear other passengers yelling as an Airport Security officer forcefully pulls the man from his window seat and proceeds to drag him down the aisle. The passenger has blood on his face. It is outrageous, i think. To pull a person off a flight when they clearly had a good reason. Reporter passengers say united needed to put four crew members on the flight and first offered 400 vouchers for people to give up their seats and then raised it to 800 and a hotel room. When nobody took the offer, they randomly chose four passengers. One man said he was a doctor and refused to leave saying he had to attend to patients in the morning. Not everyone has the flexibility when they are flying to be able to take the next flight. Some people really have to be on the flight they selected. Once an airline sells you a ticket they are required to either fly you on that flight or pay you compensation. Reporter he helped draft the first Compensation Rule in 1979. They can pay as little as they want if they can get people to take it. But if it goes up as high as 1,350 they can instead involuntarily tell people they have to get on a different flight. Crews tell us there are no signs of additional fuel or oil leaking out of it after divers plugged the fuel over the weekend and now they are planning on how they are going to recover the barge. Recently the department has roped off newly seeded areas with grass mix that should not have any negative effects on humans or animals. No fertilizer has been used in over a year. He is accused of killing and dismembering the body of this longtime friend and neighbor whose name was revealed as 77 yearold benjamin roybal. A dispute arose on march 11 involving the sale of a space heater. During that dispute the defendant used pepper spray and eventually shot the victim in the chest killing him. The family of a man arrested in oakland today praised police for their patience in handling a very intense situation. It all started in berkeley about 12 45 this afternoon when a man hijacked a truck after a hitandrun accident. The truck was later spotted at a gas station neither west oakland bart station. Oakland police surrounded the vehicle and negotiated with the man until they gave themselves up peacefully. The suspects stepfather said he was grateful for the outcome. They handled this situation.
