They are processing the crime scene with this house where the original raw original Armed Robbery occurred. Theyre trying to find the clues for the two or three suspects on the loose. One man is under arrest and police said it started at 11 00 last night when three or four men tried to rob a home near rankin. Someone inside the house managed to get out, escape and call police and when police got here, the robbers took off through a back door and one fired at least one shot at the officers. No one was hit. It was very harrowing, a close call and the officers were in the backyard. They blocked off a good chunk of this neighborhood in the bayview overnight and officers have been processing the scene to look for any evidence in the house. We know someone in the house did have minor injuries during the struggle and police say that people were targeted by the robbers and there doesnt appear to be too much danger to the public. Reporter the man has not been identified but we are told he is a 59yearold man from fairfield, still unaccounted for. He went missing saturday around 5 30 p. M. When he was out and about off the Pittsburg Marina with three other people. One was reportedly his son and his child fell into the water. The men jumped in after him and the child was recovered and treated at the hospital. The man did not make it back to the boat, and neither the man or child was wearing a life jacket. Weve found that as the search continued, three boaters were found safe and treated and transported to local facilities for further evaluation and we are currently still in active search for this. The was coast guard said its critically important to where life jacket on the boat and just this weekend, a High School Senior from fresno drowned in the San Joaquin River. Several shots fired overnight with police calling off the search with two or three Armed Robbery suspects on the loose and one man is under arrest. Robbers escaped through a back door and one of them fired shots at the officer. No one was hit. The suspects fled over fences and through adjoining backyards and the officers initiated a foot pursuit. One of the suspects was detained and the other continued to flee. Police blocked off the neighborhood trying to catch the other suspects and they were unsuccessful. Police have been processing the scene all night looking for evidence in the house.
