The 10yearold boy fell through the emerald plunge. But he was not seriously hurt. At the slide is closed until city officials inspect it. A grand opening, the park did stay open but the slide shut down. And effort, time and money went into making that park which fell short when that 10year old boy fell off the slide. There are a lot of kids here. You can see the boy go down the slide and his arms are crossed but his legs are not. Halfway down you can see him fly off the slide, over the dive, and landing on the cement barrier. I said no way i am going on that. The boy was okay, he was checked out by a doctor. He is okay beside a few scrapes and bruises. We will make sure the operating parameters were there. And we do have maintenance individuals coming in right now to check out the equipment. And they will make sure everything is operating as per our guidelines. The afternoon hours were still busy. It is a big scale issue. I am very sorry for what happened. But this is a lesson for the people who organized this. New details on a giant whale that turned up dead, from Blunt Force Trauma after it was hit by a ship or a boat. The fire started at 8 45. It began on the living area, the home is now uninhabitable. The boys father said that his 13yearold is in the icu at the Childrens Hospital in oakland. No one else was hurt in the fire. And the family is staying with relatives for the time being. The cause of the fire is under investigation. A pioneer died today in his home in georgia.
