protesters effectively shutting down muni service in san francisco as they stood in front of busses and destructive train service in memory of the 19-year-old who died one year ago today. protesters in fact the two officers on scene received medals of valor for how they handled the entire situation. new details now about an early morning home invasion robbery in sunnyvale, saying an internet chat may have led to this robbery. around 4:00 this morning, dozens of police swarmed in sunnyvale neighborhood, it's not far from 101 and ma till la. police now say a female suspect lured the homeowner one-day strike, but they will be meeting to discuss any further action. in spite of what's happening in san francisco, santa clara county will start building a new family courthouse next year. the state budget recently passed by lawmaker also provide funding for the new juscen ter on market street in downtown san has. the new courthouse will consolidate at least 20 new courtrooms. santa clara county plans to break ground by next july. state parks are in peril, but that didn't stop employees from trading in their vacation time for cash. the buyouts called taxpayers more than $270,000 as states threaten to close dozens of parks due to the balanced budget. in fact, because of this budget crisis, no vacation buyouts have been officially approved since 2007. last fall, state park napa, oakland, sunnyvale and also santa cruz, and that's why the fire was -- current numbers dropping most at the coastline, with 62 in san francisco, and also 61 in san mateo. while you may have been we have been waiting for a new hiv prevention tool and we're very excited that it's finally come and we think this is really going to have a huge impact on gay men's health. >> the fda's approval saying in a statement that we must 87 ploy each and every strategy that reduces -- source of pride for me and my constituents that some of this ground breaking research was conducted at san francisco's gladstone institutes. but a hiv pill could lead to risky sexual behavior. but the lead researcher says those things could happen without this breakthrough. and that even the cost which can area news. >> the fate of convicted killer hans reiser's wrongful death civil suit has -- told jurors that he would like to teach both of his kids life lessons, his children however are currently living in russia with their maternal grandmother. the suit was brought by his children for the murder of their mother back in 2008. they're asking for $25 million in pain and suffering for losing their mother. reiser also told the jury that he killed his wife to stop her from hurting their children. reiser says he has no money, but he has offered to sign over his computer software earnings. a
