The owner couldnt get inside her shop because the entrance was blocked by ceiling tile that came down and much of the debris landing on sinks when clients get their hair shampooed. Everything was down and broken and glass. Everywhere. And a few doors down the blackjack pizzeria sustained some damage but its back in business. And they said the violence left large cracks in walls and ceilings inside the house and caused more damage outside. It will be a major job because the whole wall has to come down and be put back up. Everything was a mess. Everything fell down. The shaking knocked down chimneys on several nearby homes. Some neighbors are dining and spending the evening together outdoors. airlines to reschedule her flight. They said there would be no problem changing the dates but there would be a fee, 275 fee. However, virgin said it would refund that fee after she filled out a bereavement form. Which i did upon my return and thats when my problems began. Problems that she said went on for months. First she mailed in the form with the death certificate. But virgin did not refund the money. When she asked why, the airline said it needed more documents. They required not just a death certificate, but a birth certificate and a marriage certificate to prove i was related to my mother. So she mailed in those, too. Still, no refund. Another month went by. I tried to get a hold of someone to speak to. And i was told i can no longer help you. So she copied all documents again and sent them all in again. Virgin said it didnt receive them. I must have sent that death certificate in five times. The marriage certificates and the other certificates. Next time she used certified mail. Still no luck. It was the same story over and over again. We need more documents. We havent received the original ones. Bernadette didnt give up. She said it wasnt about the money, it was because the airline had promised no penalty for a daughter saying goodbye to her mom. If it was

Overall temperatures have dropped significantly with 7 degrees of cooling at the airport. Take a look at the north bay. Numbers in the 40s. That is significantly colder. 17 degrees colder. Of course, yesterday we had all the cloud cover and moisture. But right now we are behind the system and the dewpoints spread allowing for the fog in the north bay. Sunny breaks today with overall partly cloudy skies. Heavy rain arrives by the middle of the afternoon. Wind gusts anywhere from 30 to 40 miles an hour. Its a colder system so the snow levels locally will drop. We could see some flakes of snow around mt. Hamilton or mound diablo. Heres a look at the current setup with us in between systems. There is the next front that is going to cue up and it will allow for the break today. As we go through the afternoon, maybe a few popup showers here in the higher elevations. In the diablo range. But overall we are dry. 11 00 tomorrow morning you notice in the north bay, cloverdale, santa rosa looking at light showers and even the santa cruz mountain. Tuesday behind the system that cold low moves in and that allows for the possibility of thunderstorms for the first day of april. So pretty unstable. Maybe a lingering shower into wednesday. Overall temperatures have dropped significantly with 7 degrees of cooling at the airport. Take a look at the north bay. Numbers in the 40s. That is significantly colder. 17 degrees colder. Of course, yesterday we had all the cloud cover and moisture. But right now we are behind the system and the dewpoints spread allowing for the fog in the north bay. First Time Since<\/a> the mountain blew an avalanche of mud and debris on the community below, at 10 37 00 a. M. , one week ago saturday, all activity at the site halted. They have identified one more victim, bringing the total of confirmed fatalities to 18. We also know that rescuers discovered one additional victim in the debris field. Someone found them and started when is called rescue breathing until help arrived. Its fantastic. And it doesnt require much. Rescue breathing. I think they did some compressions too because they were spitting up some of the water from the pond also and vomiting in addition. National Fish<\/a> hatchery in
Northern California<\/a> to be released into the delta. It is bypassing in some cases over 200 miles of
River Habitat<\/a> to get them away from some of the stressers of high water temperatures, low river flows and increased exposure to predatory fish. The dangers this year are entirely due to the drought. One that allows these tiny fish to travel on their own far too dangerous. Conditions in dnecessary the conditions in the river right now are not favorable to releasing of these fish. So we have now decided we are going to truck all of them, the states fallrun chinook. This operation will continue for the next two and a half months. 240 truck runs, as many as 30 million fish from state and federal hatcheries. These fish will be threeyear olds, which is adult in the year 2016. The more immediate threat is the threat of the being pulled into the cross channel gates. The gates normally would be closed but open this year to allow water to be pumped for agriculture. In rio vista, laura anton any abc7 news. A lot of creative ways to deal with our lack of water. Heavy rain and wind, a much colder system to snow levels around 3500 feet late tomorrow afternoon.
