It happened about 90 minutes ago. The Boston Fire Department said one person was removed from the car. It doesnt appear theres any serious structural damage to the building. Back here, Morgan Hill Police are asking for the publics help to catch a man that tried to rob a woman outside a target store and then robbed a Subway Restaurant. The suspect is caught on video. Matt keller is live with the latest. Well, the manager of this Subway Restaurant just arrived here in the last 15 minutes. But investigators already know what this armed robber looks like and theyre hoping that someone recognizes him and gives him a call. This target in morgan hill isnt like the target stores in the bigger surrounding cities. Here it feels like everyone knows your name. Its almost like the sitcom cheers. Officers say at about 9 00 last night he pulled up next to a woman in the parking lot. He was driving a black four door sedan. Its possibly a chevy cavalier or dodge neon. He pointed a shotgun at her and demanded her purse. She backed away and kept her purse. No shots were fired. He ended up driving about a half mile away to the Subway Restaurant, pointed the shotgun at the workers, grabbed cash out of the register and took off. We believe he was desperate for any amount of money he could get. It also shows the fact that he, not wearing a mask or not concealing his vehicle, most likely knowing there was surveillance at the businesses made him more of a desperate act. Take a look at this. He is believed to be in his 20s with a slim build and mohawk. He has a tattoo of a cross on his left wrist and another on his hand. He was wearing a black punisher tshirt and green shorts. A 22yearold man was killed. A 48yearold man was wounded but expected to survive. It happened and Police Responded after somebody called in and reported shots fired and a car crash. And the search for the gunman lead police to a nearby house. Officers approached the property with weapons drawn but made no arrest. Theyre asking for anyone with any information to come forward. Right now theyre trying to figure out what lead to the shooting. Happening now in oakland, police, firefighters and paramedics are crawling all over a School Campus practicing skills they hope they never have to use. Amy is is live to tell us whats going on. Amy . Eric, they just finished a drill involving a shooter and patients lying here getting new blood, fake blood applied to them so they can go through the drill. They want to do it because they want to improve on their response time. Fortunately they can do that because its just a practice. Heres the scenario. Theres a shooter on the loose at Oakland High School and theres several victims. Law enforcement needs to make the situation safe. Emergency crews need to help the gunshot victims. This is all being acted out by Volunteer High School students that actually dont even need to be here. School isnt even in session today. It seemed like a really good idea and who doesnt want to be injured and run around school and get fake blood on them. Emergency responders say with the number of School Shootings we have seen happen across the country, it makes sense to practice in case it happens here and they want to try out a new tactic. In the past, paramedics waited until Law Enforcement said it was okay to go in which caused the victims precious time. Naturally theres a transition to going in with Law Enforcement, not at the front but behind them in the warm zone. These students really appreciate the emergency teams for doing this drill. I think this is a great idea with all the recent School Shootings im happy to see our district and our school and our city trying to make sure theyre prepared if anything should happen. The good news is these teens are having fun. Theyre bloodied and battered but still taking selfies and laughing but theyre very aware they could find themselves in this situation. It is scary. I dont want it to happen but i want it to be prepared when it does. Firefighters say they appreciate the kids so much for doing this. Sometimes firefighters will pretend to be victims in a drill. Thousands of people are expected this weekend for a massive protest against police. Local activists have been demonstrating since tuesday after officers shot and killed a man and it was all caught on video. Katie is live in the newsroom. Kristen, protestors believe the shooting wasnt justified. They point to recent history. This is the third fatal officer shooting since late march. The police chief is forwarding the cases to federal authority for review. The police chief welcomes any investigation into alleged misconduct. To that end, hes sending both may shooting reports to the fbi and u. S. Justice department for review. Its not enough to quite the unrest in the community fuelled by this amateur video. Leading up to the shooting on uz, you see officers with guns drawn following carlos who is waving a pair of gardening sheers. Demonstrators were demanding justice. They believed the officers didnt need to use deadly force. Thats why they get paid for professional training. So they should have knocked him down. They should have used batons. He had little pruners that big and they could have used batons. The police chief has a different opinion about the shears. This is a weapon and a dangerous one and the way its being manipulated. Activists are not appeased. They plan a demonstration for sunday.
