Iowa attorney general tom miller says a lot of people complained about having trouble he says those complaints mostly involved problems people had with cars after driving them off lots. The Attorney Generals Office released its list yesterday of the top complaints filed with its Consumer Protection division. Iowans filed more than 27 hundred written complaints last year. 221 of those were related to used vehicle sales. 216 were Home Improvement complaints, and 201 iowans complained about home mortgages. New this morning, Cedar Rapids Police confirm someone robbed a pharmacy on the citys southeast side. It happened at reutzel pharmacy on 8th avenue southeast. This morning we have more information on that deadly crash in Benton County that we told you about yesterday morning. The iowa state patrol says icy roads may have caused the crash that killed 3 people. Crashed around 5 15 yesterday morning, on highway 30, just east of 16th avenue. Thats near keystone. The state patrol says the driver of the minivan carrying 10 people lost control. Another vehicle then hit the minivan, causing 2 other vehicles to crash. Three people from the cedar rapids area, who were all inside the minivan, died at the scene. Investigators have not released their names yet. Trooper bob conrad with the iowa state patrol says while it appears ice did play a role, he says it also seems the driver of the minivan failed to maintain control. He says the van was also overloaded. Cathy cutler with the dot District Office says they had road crews on the same stretch of highway 30 during and after the storm that hit earlier this week. Trooper conrad says all 3 People Killed were not wearing seat belts, and 2 of them were ejected from the vehicle. 53 07 15 i cannot say enough about seat belts.
