Our news truck actually got stuck at mile marker 151. State troopers told us that probably 40 or 50 cars were backed up and stuck for probably close to two hours. If you are thinking about going in that area, you cant because the internet because the interstate is shut down. Stuck there. State troopers were trying to them to safety. Some people were stuck there for maybe 2. 5 hours. Right now. Travel not advised. The interstate is closed between ames and clear lake. The careful be very careful if you can, stay home.
