Police say a guy got into that excavator, rammed the bus several times, knocking it over, flipping it over. Several people inside, along with the bus driver, were injured. Not hearing that they were severely injured but a pedestrian was run over by that construction vehicle and killed before police opened fire on the guy behind the wheel there who was in that construction vehicle shooting him several times, as you probably hear in that video. That was the first attack. A short time later police say a guy on a motorcycle rolled up to an israeli soldier and opened fire on that soldier hitting the soldier several times. The last we heard that soldier is in Critical Condition right now in the hospital. The motorcycle rider got away. The search is on for that person. Now police are calling both of these incidents terror attacks. Over the course of the last few weeks, as this war has been going on, as the fightings been going on, weve seen a lot of clashes between palestinians and police in parts of East Jerusalem and also the west bank. While nobodys claimed responsibility for those two incidents, hamas congratulated the people that were involved for the attacks. Okay . So that said, lets talk about whats going on here. The United Nations has gone out of its way to settle every other refugee population in history but they have not done so with the palestinians. Thats the only reason why unrwa exists. What is the relationship between unrwa and hamas. It is complicated. It is a u. N. Agency thats supposed to be doing the work of the west. On the other hand, if you look at the people who work for unrwa, a lot of them are hamas. They are teaching hamas materials. Of course, theyre working in a territory that has been governed and controlled by hamas so they have to operate according to hamas rules. This has made things extremely difficult for unrwa to operate in but also raises some very troubling questions about whether they are acting in some ways as a partner.
