STUDENTS students at Wiltshire College & University Centre have a new high-performance car to learn their trade on after taking delivery of a Honda Type R Civic.
The college has a long-standing relationship with with the car manufacturer, which currently has its base in Swindon.
Deputy head of engineering at the College David Campion sayss first-hand experience with a top-of-the-range high-performance vehicle will be an invaluable asset to students’ development.
He said: “We are very grateful to receive this latest vehicle from Honda. They have been extremely supportive of the college and our students over a number of years.
“Having vehicles such as this Type R Civic for students to utilise is hugely advantageous. It is a supreme performance machine and will help students put what they study into practice and enrich their learning enormously.”
