St. Louis County Public Health will offer the Pfizer vaccine at Thursday's clinic. The Pfizer vaccine is approved for anyone age 16 and older, while the Moderna vaccine is only approved for people age 18 and older. The county's more permanent vaccine site in Eveleth offers the Moderna vaccine. "The clinic is being offered to make it as easy as possible for students to get vaccinated now to minimize the risk of having to quarantine and miss graduation, sports playoff competitions and any other late-spring or summer activities and celebrations," a news release from St. Louis County said.
