#BrendinHorner: Appeal date set for murder accused : compare

One of the suspects in the murder of 21-year old farmer manager, Brendin Horner, is set to argue against his bail denial in the Free State High Court this coming week.
The accused, Sekwetje Mahlamba's (33) legal representative-Advocate, Joseph Kgoelenya says the appeal has been set for this Tuesday, December 15.
Mahlamba was denied bail in the Senekal Magistrate's Court by Magistrate Deon Van Rooyen in October, following claims that he could evade his trial and that he had a prima facie case against him.
However, Advocate Kgoelenya rubbished the claims and argued that the evidence against Mahlamba and his co-accused Sekola Matlaletsa (44) was weak and circumstantial.
